Mit Auftritten auf Events wie Defqon.1, Decibel outdoor und Fatality Outdoor sind die Produzenten alles andere als unbekannt, aber da bis jetzt kaum Informationen über diese neue Formierung draußen sind, könnt ihr euch nun auf exklusive Details über The Purge, Mind Dimension, Genox , Ace, Jordy und Savage Squad Recordings insgesamt freuen.
Ein Label zu verlassen, das vor allem als gemeinschaftliche Familie bekannt ist, und zudem die Corona-Situation in etwas Positives zu verwandeln, ist für die meisten Künstler wahrscheinlich unvorstellbar. Obwohl es hart ist, das ist genau das, was die Mitglieder des brandneuen Hardstyle Labels Savage Squad Recordings geschafft haben: „Es war eine harte Entscheidung, da wir uns sehr verbunden zur Spoontech Bewegung gefühlt haben, aber hatten über die Gründung eines Labels nachgedacht und empfanden das als den richtigen Moment.“
Während Manuel (The Purge) in dem Label, das am meisten zu seiner Musik passt, gewachsen ist, wollte er seit Jahren schon immer ein eigenes Label gründen. Durch die entstandene Freundschaft mit seinem ehemaligen Spoontech Manager Jordy und seinem Kollegen Alberto (Mind Dimension) haben sie über die Jahre erkannt, dass sie die gleiche Denkweise und die gleichen Ambitionen haben. Mit Ace und Genox haben sie nun Produzenten an Board, die die gleichen Ziele haben und den Willen, in dieser Szene Vollzeit zu arbeiten und davon leben zu können.
Das brandneue Label Savage Squad Recordings
Seit Jordy Spoontech Records als Manager verlassen hat und somit auch bevor die große Ankündigung über die neue Labelgründung veröffentlicht wurde, wurde der Gorilla-Emoji überall im Hardstyle-Bereich der Sozialen Medien geteilt: „Wir wollten ein Art Maskottchen, das unsere Gedanken und den Style unserer Marke repräsentiert. Der Gorilla ist ein Tier, das Leute als lustiges und verrücktes Wesen ansehen, das zur gleichen Zeit allerdings auch sehr aggressiv sein kann. Es hat zwei Gesichter, was wir im Grunde auch unseren Fans zeigen wollen.“
Der Labelname Savage Squad Records ist natürlich auch Etwas mit einer tieferen Bedeutung: „Seit wir uns kennen, haben wir einen Chat, der ‚Savage & The Snake Club‘ heißt. Wir wollten eine brandneue Bewegung repräsentieren, eine brutale Bewegung. Deswegen haben wir uns entschieden, mit dem Wort ‚savage‘ weiterzuarbeiten und Leute in einem Label zu vereinen, was im Grunde die „Squad“ ist. Auf diese Art sind wir auf die bestmögliche Art mit unserer Fanbase verbunden, sie sind Teil unserer Savage Squad.“
Auch mit ihrer Labelgründung werden die Produzenten weitermachen, ihre Musik-Skills weiterzuentwickeln und das Beste aus ihrem persönlichen Style rauszuholen: „Wir wollen etwas innerhalb der Harder Styles-Szene repräsentieren, das noch nie getan wurde. Es gibt prinzipiell nicht DEN einen Style, den unser Label hat, als Hauptpriorität sehen wir einfach, freshe und sexy Musik mit Qualität zu machen. Wir können alles: Von melodisch bis zu extrem hart.“
Die allererste dem Label gewidmete Party: The Phoenix 100 SSR Launch Event
Manuel hat in den letzten Wochen bereits zwei Phoenix 100 The Purge & Friends Events gehostet. Morgen, am 29. August, ist es Zeit für eine weitere zerstörerische Party: The Phoenix 100 SSR Launch Event. „Beide The Purge & Friends-Nächte waren unglaublich energiegeladen und eine einzigartige Erfahrung. Die Atmosphäre war wie von einem anderen Stern, etwas das von Event zu Event besser wird. Es geht mehr darum, wie die Fans ein Event wie unseres erleben, es ist unbeschreiblich und unterschiedlich für jeden. Eine Sache können wir sicherstellen: Das SSR Launch Event wird SAVAGE.“
Die Zukunft von Savage Squad Recordings
Die Mitglieder haben bereits über neue Musik gepostet, aber jetzt hat das Label bestätigt, dass Besucher des SSR-Events sich noch mehr als sowieso schon auf die Party freuen können: „Ihr seid die Glücklichen, die die ganze neue Musik des Labels hören werden!“ Nur ein paar Tage später, im September, ist es endlich Zeit für das, worauf jeder Fan wartet: Die allerersten Releases auf Savage Squad Recordings.
Da die vielversprechende Marke aus vier Mitlgiedern besteht und zudem eine Demodrop-Option auf ihrer Webseite hat, könnten sich Fans für mögliche Zugänge zum Label interessieren. „Wir würden gerne Guest Releases von neuen, viel versprechenden Talenten veröffentlichen. Wir werden nur Musik von Talenten herausbringen, wenn wir denken, dass sie die Vision, die Ambition und die Qualität mitbringen, die die Szene wirklich braucht“, stellen die Labelbosse klar. Während des SSR Launch-Events wird die Squad Support von den aufsteigenden DJs Zyon, Koltrax und The Smiler bekommen, also können Fans ihre Augen möglicherweise gezielt auf diese Namen halten.

The new label Savage Squad Recordings has just arisen at the Extra-Raw Hardstyle sky and we of course want to have a closer look at SSR. With performances at among others Defqon.1, Decibel outdoor and Fatality Outdoor, the members are everything but not unknown, but since until now not much information is out about this new formation, you can now prepare yourself for exclusive details about The Purge, Mind Dimension, Genox, Ace, Jordy and what Savage Squad Recordings is all about.
Leaving a label which is known as a strongly united family and turning this Corona situation in something positive is for most of artists unimaginable. But even though it is hard, it’s exactly what the representatives of the brand-new Hardstyle label Savage Squad Recordings did: “It was a hard decision since we felt very connected to the Spoontech movement, but we have been thinking about establishing a label in the future and we felt that this was the right moment.”
Besides growing in the label Spoontech Records that fitted Manuel’s (The Purge’s) music best, he had been thinking about establishing a label for many years. Eventually he became friends with his colleague Alberto (Mind Dimension) and the former Spoontech manager Jordy and throughout the years they have been discovering that they have the same mindset and big ambitions. With Ace and Genox they now have producers on board with the same motivation and the will to work in this scene full-time and make a living out of it.
The brand-new label Savage Squad Recordings
Since Jordy left Spoontech Records as a manager and therefore before the big announcement of the new label founding got officially published, the gorilla emoji took over the Hardstyle part of social media: “We basically wanted some sort of mascot that represents our believes and style of brand. The gorilla is an animal that many people consider as a funny and crazy animal which can also be very aggressive at the same time. It has two faces which we basically also want to show to our following.”
The label name Savage Squad Recordings has of course also something with a deeper meaning in it: “Since the moment that we’ve met many years ago we created a chat called ‘Savage & The Snake Club.’ We wanted to represent a brand-new movement, a savage movement. That’s why we’ve chosen to continue with the word savage and gather people in a label which is basically the squad. In that way we can connect with our fanbase in the best way possible, they are part of the Savage Squad.”
While founding a brand-new own label, the producers will continue evolving their skills and working out their best within their personal music style: “We want to represent something within the Harder Styles scene that has never been done before. There isn’t basically one style which our label has, we just make fresh and sexy music with quality as the main priority. We can move from melodic to very rough.“
The very first party dedicated to the label: The Phoenix 100 SSR Launch Event
Manuel already hosted two Phoenix 100 The Purge & Friends events in the past weeks, however tomorrow, on the 29th August, it’s time for another groundbreaking party: The Phoenix 100 SSR Event. “Both The Purge & Friends night were incredibly energetic and an unique experience. The vibe was something else, something which gets better every event. It’s moreover how the fans experience an event like ours, it’s indescribable and different for everybody. One thing we can assure, the SSR launch event is going to be SAVAGE.”
The future of Savage Squad Recordings
The members have already posted about new incoming music, but the label has now confirmed that visitors of the SSR Event can look even more forward to the party: “You are the lucky ones that will experience all the new music from the label!” Only a couple of days later, in September, it’s already time for what every fan is waiting for: the very first releases on Savage Squad Recordings.
Since this promising new brand consists of four members and also has a demo drop option on their website, fans might be interested in possible additions to the label: “In the future we would like to do guest releases by new promising talents. We will only release music of talents if we think that they have the vision, ambition and quality this scene really needs”, the label bosses state. On the SSR launch event the squad will get support from the upcoming DJs Zyon, Koltrax and The Smiler, so fans can especially look out for any news regarding these names.
