It’s that time again: the craziest party of the year is coming up! Not only in Cologne, Mainz and Dusseldorf, but in all of Germany, the Netherlands and of course in the hardstyle scene carnival is celebrated! Like almost every year, you can party at Karnaval in the Netherlands to various sub genres of the Harder Styles a whole weekend. Everything you need to know about Karnaval Festival 2023 (line-up, timetable, ticket prices, weather, traveling) can be found in this article.
After we were able to celebrate one of the last hardstyle festivals before the Corona pandemic at Karnaval Festival 2020, the event had a forced break for two years. Now it’s finally time and we can return to Moergestel to celebrate uninhibited and full of ecstasy together in our funniest costumes without any restrictions.
Can’t wait to dress up in your favorite costume and go dancing like crazy? Then let’s go! But before you get started, here are a few things to keep in mind.
The Hard Facts
Karnaval Festival will take place this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, February 18 and 19, 2023 in Moergestel in the south of the Netherlands, not far from Tilburg.
The party is on Saturday from 18 years on and on Sunday even from 17 years on. So don’t forget your identity card, passport or driver’s license.
Unfortunately, tickets for the event have been sold out for some time, but you still have the possibility to register on a waiting list on the organizer’s website. Via the ticket link, you can also buy parking- and bus tickets as well as coins for food and drinks.
If you don’t get a ticket through the waiting list and still want to go to the Karnaval Festival, you can also try your luck through TicketSwap. There are still some tickets online, some of them even cheaper than the original price.
Festival Hours: Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 12:00am until 11:00pm
Sunday, February 19, 2023 – 1:00pm until 10:00pm
Admission closes at 7:30pm.

Many roads lead to the Karnaval Festival – How to get there
Whether by car, public transport or bus tours: you can easily reach the festival grounds despite the location is remote.
By car
The address of the festival parking lot is Kanaaldijk 2, 5084 HM Biest-Houtakker. Kanaaldijk 2, 5084 HM Biest-Houtakker.
Attention, you can only reach the parking lot via the A58/A65 by taking exit 10 – Hilvarenbeek. From there on there will be yellow traffic signs showing you the way. If you want to save some money and buy a parking ticket in advance, you can do that for 15€ via this link.
Kiss & Ride
Will you be brought to the event by cab or car? The address for the Kiss & Ride parking lot is: Sebrechtsedijk 2, 5066 PW Moergestel. But again, the yellow traffic signs will help to find your way.
With train
If you want to travel by train, the train station Oisterwijk (Treinstation Oisterwijk) or Tilburg should be your first destination. From there on you can take the bus to Moergestel. Unfortunately, we don’t know of any shuttle busses going to the festival area.
With party bus tours and touring cars
HardTours will bring you from the South and West of Germany from to the Karnaval Festival (bus tickets starting from 45€), Feierreisen drives from many locations in the North and East of Germany to Moergestel (on Saturdays from 41€ and Sundays from 32€) . From the Netherlands, bus tours are also offered by organizers such as Partybussen.nl, The Partyexpress or Eleventravel.
Stages, Line-up and Timetable
This year there are four different marquees and an outdoor mainstage again, where you can expect a wide range of Harder Styles.
On Saturday, a wide mix of Hardstyle and Rawstyle DJs will perform on the mainstage. A highlight of the day will certainly be the show of MC Villan, whose cover picture on the event website already reveals that frikandels will be part of the show again.
The counterpart to Villan’s „Frikandelshow“ on Saturday is probably the set of Captian Karnastyle on Sunday. You can definitely expect a freaky show here. On Sunday, you’ll get to see several B2Bs on the mainstage such as the ones of Rebelion vs. Adjuzt and Outsiders vs. Bass Chaserz.
The Fanaticz Stage invites you to do a klaplong and kickroll session on Saturday with sets by Rawstyle DJs like Aversion or Bloodlust and also some interesting B2Bs, for example, Cryex vs. Scarra vs. Vasto; Unresolved vs. The Purge or Mutlilator vs. So Jucie.
On Sunday, the second area will not only get a new name but also a new subgenre focus. The sets of Sefa, Paul Elstak or Barber vs. Unproven will increase the BPM number!
A great mix of carnival and party acts such as Vieze Jack; Immer Hansi or Lamme Frans will await you in the Flügel Festtent throughout the weekend. Also on the smallest stage of the festival grounds, the Partyhut stage, will certainly quickly carnival atmosphere arise by the sets of DJs such as Alles & Iedereen or Lunaticz or The Purge’s Hard Techno alias MØSCARDØ.
The line-up of the Boombox is also very diverse: from Euphoric Hardstyle with Ephoric over Rawstyle with Griever to Frenchcore with Demenica.

More specials at Karnaval Festival
In addition to the two crazy shows on the mainstage, there will be an endshow on both days. While it will probably be quite cold outside by the time of the endshow, you can warm up by gazing the fireworks.
Moreover, warm drinks that you can buy on-site will also help you against the cold temperatures.
If you are looking for more warmth, you can find a home in the lounge tent and take a rest on the benches.
Furthermore, the organizer Intents offers you a wide culinary offer at the Karnaval Festival, there will even be vegan and gluten-free dishes.
A bumper car in front of the main stage will offer even more fun besides the music. You can also buy earplugs on the premises and store your belongings in a locker.
Locker tickets are available in advance here, as well as food and drink tokens, so you can save some time and start the party immediately after stepping in.

Weather at Karnaval Festival
After the temperatures in the last few days, already spring feelings arose, the weather god reminds us just on the carnival weekend that the winter is not over yet. For Saturday and Sunday light showers, but temperatures between 9-12 degrees are announced. Not so bad for the fact that we actually still have winter. But you should still pack a rain jacket in any case!

Another event at carnival: Uptempo Carnaval at Time-Out
Not only at Karnaval Festival you can party to Hardcore and Uptempo at carnival. In the Netherlands, there is another carnival party that you can visit if you are more of a friend of the faster BPM.
The organizer Hardcore Carnaval, brought out an Uptempo special in the Time-Out in Gemert this year.
